Final Rites Held For Mrs. Morris Boyett Aug. 25

Funeral services for Mrs. Morris Boyett, 62, a recent resident of Center
Street, Winnfield, who died at the home of her sister in Sulphur, La., August
24, were held Friday at 10 a.m. at a funeral home in that city.  Burial was in
Magnolia Cemetery at Beaumont, Texas.

Rev. J. W. James, pastor of the Union Baptist Church of Joyce, officiated.

Mrs. Boyett, a native of Grand Cheniere, had been in ill health for some time.

She is survived by her husband, Morris Boyett of Winnfield; one sister, two
half sisters, and four brothers.
