Bozeman Services for Mrs. Jewel C. Bozeman, 67, of Winnfield, were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Robert Gage officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mrs. Bozeman died Saturday, December 20, 1980 in Clinton Infirmary in Clinton after a long illness. She was a native of Natchitoches Parish, a member of the First Presbyterian Church, and served at Winnfield General Hospital as administrator from 1948- 1964. Survivors include her husband, Eck H. Bozeman of Winnfield; a son, Martin Bozeman of Vivian; three daughters, Mrs. Janet Sharp of Broken Arrow, Okla., Mrs. Norma Johnson of Clinton, and Ms. Lana Swan of Baker; two sisters, Mrs. Norma Taylor of Neosho, Mo., and Mrs. Hazel Chaney of DeQueen, Ark.; two brothers, Hadley H. Chestnut of Panama City, Fla., and Baron Chestnut of Opalocha, Fla.; and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Buddy Wood, Clay Bates, Bob Kraft, E. J. Buchanan, Evans McIntire, and Eddie Powell.
