Funeral Rites For Mrs. N. Bratton At Sikes Friday, Dec. 14

Mrs. Nettie Bratton, 72, of West Monroe, died suddenly of a heart attack at 9
a.m. Wednesday at her house.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Fellowship Baptist Church
near Sikes.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The Rev. W. C. Bounds
will officiate and Southern Funeral Home will be in charge.

Survivors include her husband, W. R. Bratton; four daughters, Mrs. Rosie
Lasyone, Clarks; Mrs. Dolly Burke, West Monroe; Mrs. Hattie Tolbert, Columbia;
Mrs. Lew Thompson, Urania; four sons, Arlie, Columbia; E___, Dodson; J. S.,
West Monroe; Melvin, Port Arthur, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. D___Thigpen, West
Monroe; Mrs. Lela Oglesby, West Monroe; Mrs.Ollie Brown, Texas; one brother,
Thomas Harper, Columbia, 35 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great
grandchild.
