Mrs. John Brady, 71
Dies In Hospital On Friday, January 21

    Mrs. John Brady, age 71, of Atlanta died at a Shreveport hospital
Friday of last week following an illness of several weeks.

    Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 22, 1938, at Mars
Hill conducted by the Rev. Otto L. Hughes of Winnfield and interment was
made in the Mars Hill cemetery.  She was a member of the Baptist church.

    Surviving here [her] are five sons, Allen, Levelle, Roy and Randall
Brady of Atlanta and Allen [sic] Brady of Baton Rouge; four daughters,
Mrs. Clarence Avant, New Verda, Mrs. Natheon Avant, Mrs. Andon McClain,
Atlanta, and Mrs. B. Bailey, Natchitoches.
