Obituaries: C. P. O. Branch

Garland Branch, 38, of Kingsville, Texas died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, December
20, 1978 in the local hospital. He was a chief petty officer with 21-years
active duty in the Navy and a native of Grant Parish.

Survivors include his wife, Grace Branch of Kingsville, one son, Angelo Branch
of Kingsville; one brother, Donald Branch of Danbury, Conn.; one sister,
Shirley Brantley of DeRidder; and his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. M.
E. Armstrong of Georgetown.

Services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Hixson Bros.

Members of the United State Army were pallbearers.
