Ellis Clay Brand

Services for Ellis Clay Brand, 80, of Verda were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in
Verda Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Paige officiating.  Burial was in
the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

He died at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 1980 in Winnfield General
Hospital.  He was a member of the Verda Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Carl Brand of Shreveport and Donnie Brand of
Denver; two sisters, Trudie LeBarron of Verda and Gladys Crain of Pollock;
four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
