Mrs. S. Branch Dies After Brief Illness

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sikes Baptist Church for
Mrs. Marie T. Branch, 66, who died Thursday, June 3, 1976 at her residence in
Sikes after a brief illness.

Officiating was the Rev. Willie James, with burial in the Sikes Cemetery under
the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Branch was a sales clerk and a member of the Sikes Baptist Church.  She
was also a native of Sikes.

Survivors include her husband, Stanley Branch of Sikes; two daughters, Mrs.
John Brister, Jr. And Mrs. Dalton Martin, both of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs.
E. S. Cole of Winnfield; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
