Death Claims Mrs. Orphie Elizabeth Brantley, May 23

Mrs. Orphie Elizabeth Brantley, 84, died at her home in Goldonna, May 23,
after an illness of three weeks.  She was the widow of the late J. D. Brantley
and was a member of the Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

Funeral services were conducted under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
May 25, with interment in the Goldonna Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by five sons, Fred, Charlie, Henry, and Felton
Brantley of Goldonna, and Almond Brantley of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs.
Minnie Brewton and Mrs. Fannie Gunter, Goldonna; one sister, Mrs. Ida Johnson,
Goldonna; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
