Mrs. Thee Branch, Native of Dodson, Dies in W. Monroe

Mrs. Thee Branch, 71, died July 8 at her home in West Monroe.  Mrs. Branch was
the former Miss Sallie Gates, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gates of
near Dodson.

Funeral services were held at the Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, 
Friday, July 9.  Burial was in West Monroe Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband and six children, Aurice Branch, Shreveport;
Mrs. Annice Cloud, Bosco; Grady Branch, Monroe; Mrs. Esther Oliphant, Macon,
Ga.; Herbert Branch, Monroe; Alton Branch, Macon, Ga.; nine grandchildren;
three brothers, W. A. Gates, E. C. Gates, and C. F. Gates, Sikes; a sister,
Mrs. Delia Davis, Dodson.
