Edward D. Brady, Marine Corps, who taught machine shop at the Trade School here in 1942 and early 1943, died Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in a U. S. hospital in San Diego, according to a wire received here from his wife. He was buried today, Thursday, in Jasper, Texas, the home of Mrs. Brady. Brady served 14 months with the Marine in the Pacific and was on Okinawa during combat there. He was inducted in 1943 while an instructor in the Trade School here. Since his return to the States in November, 1945, he had been a patient in the hospital at San Diego. Surviving him are his widow, the former Juanita Price of Jasper, Texas, a young son, Edward, Jr., and two sisters. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Brady of Jasper.
