Mrs. Aaron Bratton Succumbs in Shreveport

Mrs. Aaron Bratton, the former Miss Mildred Varnell of Winnfield, died in a
Shreveport hospital Wednesday afternoon, following an illness of four months
duration.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the family home
in South Winnfield.  Burial will be in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction
of Southern Funeral Home.

The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Varnell of South
Winnfield.  Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband of Winnfield;
two sisters, Vivian Varnell, Winnfield; Mrs. Adelle Kirkpatrick, Jonesboro;
two brothers, Curtis Varnell, Winnfield, and Talmadge Varnell, Barksdale.
