M. Brazzell, Retired Jailer, Dies Wednesday Floyd M. Brazzell, __, of Winnfield, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 1971 in Winnfield General Hospital. He was a native of Georgetown and a retired jailer with the Winn Parish Sheriff's Department. Funeral services are tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Alson Jeter officiating, assisted by Rev. Willie Broadway. Interment will be in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Leora G. Brazzell of Winnfield; one daugther, Mrs. C. H. Hand, Jr., of Winnfield; two sons, Bobby Brazzell of Houma and Jimmy Brazzell of Winnfield; two sisters, Mrs. Edgar Bruce and Mrs. Harvey Bradford, both of Georgetown; four brothers, Claude Brazzell of Georgetown, Johnny Brazzell of Pollock, James Brazzell of Winnfield, and Ivan Brazzell of Alexandria, and two grandchildren.
