Edna Lee Brewton

Services for Edna Lee Brewton, 66, of Shreveport were held at 1 p.m. Saturday
in Goldonna Baptist Church with Revs. Virgil Wilson and Jimmy Cooper
officiating.  Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery under direction of Southern,
Winnfield.

Miss Brewton was found dead Thursday afternoon, February 2, 1984 in her home.

She was a native of Goldonna and a teacher.  She was a member of Pinecroft
Baptist Church, Shreveport, and was in the Women's Army Corps in World War II.

Survivors include three brothers, William D. Brewton of Waskom, Texas, John
Brewton of Dallas, Texas, and Benjamin Brewton of Houston, Texas; four
sisters, Laura Cooper of Hodge, Elinor Webb of Norfolk, Virginia, Dorothy
Franks and Charlotte Shaw, both of Shreveport.
