He was 54 years old. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Dannis Funeral chapel with the Rev. N. E. Joyner, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating, with assistance of the Rev. H. E. Kirkpatrick, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial was in the Minden Cemetery. He is survived by his widow, the former Miss Faye Gilstrap, of Winnfield; one daughter, Mrs. Jules Dupuy of Minden; one sister, Mrs. Turnley Walker of Alexandria; two brothers, T. A. Beithaupt of Jena and Clyde Breithaupt, of Phoenix, Arizona; and one grandson, Jules Walter Dupuy of Minden. Breithaupt was a member of the Baptist Church of Jena. He held membership in the Masonic and Eastern Star orders. Since 1907 he had been employed as an engineer by the Louisiana and Arkansas railway.
