Mrs. Brewton, 94, Succumbs; Rites Sunday

Mrs. Carmie Brewton, 94, of Goldonna, died Friday night, May 6, 1977 in a
Natchitoches hospital.

Widow of J. H. Brewton, she was a native of Forrest, Mississippi.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Goldonna Baptist Church with the
Rev. Dean Hedrick officiating.  Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery under the
direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Surviving are two sons, Latnie L. Brewton, Sr., of Winnfield and Herschel R.
Brewton of Harvey; one daughter, Mrs. Ilah Riser of Goldonna; five
grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were L. L. Brewton, Jr., Trey Brewton, Mickey Brewton, Randy
Brewton, Perry Bryant, and Rusty Bryant.
