Funeral Rites For Mrs. Jessie H. Brewton Held

Mrs. Jessie H. Brewton, 69, of Calvin, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday, November 24,
1969 in a Springhill hospital.

She is survived by one son, Bobby J. Brewton of Lake Charles; four daughters,
Mrs. Esther Trichel of Sarepta, Mrs. Martha R. Cheek of Baltimore, Md., Mrs.
Barbara Ann Brimer of Castor, and Mrs. Joy Nell Swanson of Natchitoches; three
brothers, Ed Harper of Jonesboro, John Harper of Chatham, and Allen Harper of
Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. J. B. Robinson, Jr., of Jonesboro; 11
grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Antioch Methodist Church in
Winn Parish with Rev. Huey P. White officiating.  Burial was in the church
cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
