John L. Brewton, Ward Ten, Buried At Antioch Feb. 22

John L. Brewton, 35, native and life long resident of Ward Ten, Winn Parish,
died at his home in the Brewton community Saturday night.  Funeral services
were conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 22, in the Antioch Church with the
Rev. Mr. Brown officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Brewton was a retired farmer and a member of the Methodist church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ira Babers Brewton; five sons, Joe, Festus,
Stanley, and Ardis, all of Route 1, Goldonna; and Olen Brewton of Route 3,
Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Taylor and Mrs. Vada Taylor, both of Rt.
1, Goldonna; and one sister, Mrs. Venie Golden of Baton Rouge.
