Tommy R. Brewton

Funeral services for Tommy Brewton were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Antioch
Methodist Church.  Officiating were Dr. Calvin Phelps and Rev. Huey White. 
Interment followed in the Antioch Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral
Home, Winnfield.

Mr. Brewton, age 52, of Winnfield, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1995 in the Winn
Parish Medical Center following a lengthy illness.  He was a member of the
First Baptist Church, a graduate of Northwestern State University, served on
the Winn Parish School Board from 1986 until 1990, was a counselor for the
Louisiana Department of Education for 17 « years in the Vocational Rehab.

Survivors are his wife, Vicki Dunn Brewton of Winnfield; two sons, Michael
Brewton of Shreveport, La., and Mark Brewton of Winnfield, La.; his mother,
Mrs. Kathryn Brewton of Brewton's Mill, La. and one granddaughter, Regan
Brewton of Shreveport, La.

Pallbearers were Bill Files, Bobby Guin, Mike Tinnerello, Mickey Simmons,
William Homer Collins, and Gregg Davies.
