Mrs. Brister Dies; Rites At Hurricane Grove

Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie L. Brister, 74, of Sikes, were held at 2 p.m.
Saturday in Hurricane Grove Baptist Church.  Burial was in the church cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Brister died Thursday, November 11, 1976 in a local hospital after a
lengthy illness.

A native of Womack, Mrs. Brister was a member of Hurricane Grove Baptist
Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lester Brister of Sikes and Delmas Brister of West
Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Nelvian Robinson of Charleston, SC; two brothers,
Ivy Bill Womack of Oak Grove and Earl Womack of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs.
Vella Parker of Joyce; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
