Wiley Brister Laid To Rest In James Cemetery Saturday

Wiley Brister, about 60 years old, of Grayson, died at his home Friday
afternoon, September 4.  Mr. Brister was born and reared in Winn Parish.  He
was married first to Miss Ellen Adams to which union seven children were born.
By a second marriage to Miss Ada Hudson, six children were born.

Funeral services were held at James graveyard at 3:00 p.m. the Rev. Dow Emmons
in charge.  The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church and a prominent
farmer.

Relatives form Winnfield attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Sanders
and Wesley Boyett, Mr. and Mrs. White, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Sanders, and R. A.
Sanders of Hudson.
