Funeral Services For Mrs. H. L. Brian Held at Jerusalem

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Dickerson Brian, 81, who died at her home 2627
Dillard Street Monday night, were held Tuesday at 4:30 P.M. at Rose-Neath
funeral chapel in Shreveport, conducted by Rev. G. A. Morgan, pastor of the
Cedar Grove Methodist Church.  Following the rites, the body was sent to
Winnfield where the final rites were held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Jerusalem
Cemetery with Rev. H. B. Hysell and Rev. Alwin Stokes officiating.

Mrs. Brian, a native of Winn Parish, had been bedridden for more than a year
prior to her death.

She is survived by her husband, H. L. Brian of Shreveport; two sons, W. T.
Brian of Shreveport and B. F. Brian of Eunice; two daughters, Clara Alma
Brian, Shreveport, and Mrs. Celeste Carpenter of Moorhead, Miss.; seven
grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. B. W. Bailey of Winnfield, Mrs. Mollie
Wyatt of St. Maurice, and Mrs. J. R. Hall of Winnfield.
