A. Bright, 76, Succumbs; Rites At Jerusalem William Arthur Bright, 76, of Route 3, Winnfield, died at his home at 8 p.m. Friday, January 24, 1969. He was a native of Kentucky and a retired railroad man. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday in New Jerusalem Baptist Church near Winnfield. Rev. E. B. Barton and Rev. Ernest Evans officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Winnfield. Survivors are his wife, Willie H. Bright of Route 3, Winnfield; a son, Clarence Bright of New Orleans; four daughters, Beatrice Killen and Dorothy Barton, both of Winnfield, and Betty Ruth Boatwright of Visalia, Calif., and Lorene Varnell of Hammond; two brothers, Charlie Bright of Winnfield and I. N. Bright of Sarasota, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Hubbard, Roger Barton, Joseph Bright, Elic Roberts, Jerry Drewett, Rev. Thomas Cobb.
