L. Brian Is Buried Wednesday A. M. At Jerusalem Former Resident of Winnfield Dies Monday in Shreveport Funeral services for Mrs. H. L. Brian, who died Monday night at eleven o'clock in a Shreveport sanitarium, were conducted at the Jerusalem Cemetery, five miles from Winnfield, where interment was made Wednesday morning at eleven- thirty o'clock. These services were conducted by the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of First Presbyterian Church and the Rev. H. B. Hysell, pastor of First Methodist Church of Winnfield. Preceding the services were those held at the funeral home in Shreveport on Tuesday afternoon at four-thirty o'clock. Mrs. Brian was a life long member of the Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Dickerson, pioneer residents of Winn Parish. For a number of years after her marriage to H. L. Brian they resided in Winnfield and later moved to Verda where they lived before moving to Shreveport several years ago. Surviving her are her husband, H. L. Brian, two sons, Weaver T. Brian of Shreveport and Ben F. Brian of Eunice; two daughters, Clara Brian of Shreveport and Mrs. Cleste Carpenter of Morehead, Miss.; and three sisters, Mrs. Mollie Wyatt of St. Maurice, Mrs. Maggie Hall and Mrs. B. W. Bailey of Winnfield.
