Former Winn Resident Dies; Burial In Atlanta

Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Lee Brinkley, 77, a resident of Atlanta, Winn
Parish, were held Sunday, August 9 at the Atlanta Methodist Church with Rev.
Larry Elliott officiating.  Burial was in the Atlanta Cemetery.

Mrs. Brinkley died Friday night at 11 p.m. in an Alexandria hospital.  She was
the widow of Mike Brinkley.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Joffrion of Moreauville; six
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Johnny Joffrion, Kelly Jeffrion, Jr., Byron Bourgeois,
Michael Bourgeois, Everett Gremillion, and Dwight Prevot.
