Widow of the late Arthur Bright, she was a native of Stamps, Ark., and a member of Lakeside Church. Survivors include a son, Clarence Edward Bright of New Orleans; four daughters, Mrs. Walter Killen of Winnfield, Mrs. Murrell Barton of Joyce, Mrs. Betty Boatwright of Visilia, Calif., Mrs. Delton Varnell of Hammond; three brothers, George Harrison and Alvin Harrison, both of Stamps, Ark., Mark Harrison of Miami, Fla.; four sisters, Mrs. Gracie Shelton and Mrs. Lillie Bright, both of Winnfield, Mrs. Grady King of Shreveport, and Mrs. Otho Kennedy of Buckner, Ark., 11 grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday in New Jerusalem Baptist Church with Revs. Homer Ivy and Roy Moore officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
