Zelma Brinkley

Services for Mrs. Zelma Brinkley of Winnfield were held Monday, September 13,
1993 at 10 a.m. in Southern Chapel.  Mrs. Brinkley, age 72, died Saturday,
September 11, 1993, at Rapides Medical Center in Alexandria.  Burial was in
the Jordan Hill Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home,
Winnfield.  Officiating was Dr. Calvin Phelps and Rev. Craig James.

Mrs. Brinkley was a member of First Baptist Church, Winnfield.

Survivors include one son, Harry B. Brinkley of Winnfield; one daughter, Lynda
B. McCartney of Tullos; three brothers, Odis Jordan, Monroe Jordan, and Olan
Jordan, all of Winnfield; four grandchildren, Chad McCartney, Shannonn
Hemphill, Angie Comeaux, and Rus Brinkley; four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Greg Hemphill, Eddie Comeaux, Rus Brinkley, Chad McCartney,
Larry Dearman, and Dr. Wayne Pray.
