Last Rites Are Conducted For I. M. Brown

I. M. Brown, a member of a well known Dodson family, died Monday at 10 a.m.
after an illness of eight or nine months duration, suffering with a number of
troubles.

Mr. Brown was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Ida Dear, a daughter, Mrs. Prentiss
Horn, of Springhiill, one son, D. M. Brown, Jr., of Dodson.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Baptist
Church with Rev. Rufus Kitchingham of Dodson officiating.  Interment was made
at Zion Hill Cemetery with the following acting as pallbearers: G. W. Price,
L. L. Lee, Jim Daily, W. J. Russell, H. C. Rushing, L. E. Vines, Wesley Johns,
and G. C. Moore.
