Kit Hathorn officiating with interment following at Goldonna Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Graveside Masonic rites were also conducted. Brown, a school bus driver in St. Maurice, was a World War II veteran and served in the Korean conflict. He belonged to the Goldonna Baptist Church and was a Master Mason at Goldonna Lodge 293. Surviving Brown are his widow, Mrs. Marie Brown, Goldonna; sons Anthony Dewayne and Richard Keith Brown of goldonna; and daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth C. Monroe of Poydras and Jackqualine Sue Stewart of Goldonna. Brown is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Alma Waters of Natchitoches; brothers Oliver Brown, Abilene, Texas, Robert Brown, Shreveport, and three sisters, Mrs. Annie Fontenot, Monroe, Mrs. Lena Lambert, Montgomery, and Mrs. Ruby Harris, Plainview, Texas.
