Robert Glenn Brock, 71, passed away at the family residence in Winnfield at 206 Pineville Street October 6. Funeral services were conducted at 9 a.m., October 7, at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. George Parks of Natchitoches, officiating. Burial was in the Vicksburg, Miss., Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Troy Smith, Lloyd Key, W. E. LaCroix, Buddy Wood, Henry Harlan, and Don Thompson. A retired railroad man, Mr. Brock came to reside in Winnfield with his son, Claud Brock, and family, in 1946. He was a member of the Winnfield Christian Church. Besides his son, Claud Brock, he is survived by one grandson, Lt. Clay Brock, of El Paso.
