Brother Of Mrs. J. L. Corley Dies Near Powhatan

Thomas DeWitt Brossette, 72, of Natchitoches, died Wednesday, July 5, 1972, at
his home near Powhatan.  He was a native of Montgomery and was a retired
logging contractor.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sadie L. Brossette, of Natchitoches; one
daughter, Mrs. George Clary of Houston, Tex.; three brothers, Hardy Brossette
of Natchitoches, Jessie Brossette of Derry, and Beauford Brossette of
Dubberly; one sister, Mrs. Johnnie Corley of Winnfield, and three
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Blanchard's
Funeral Home with Rev. O. V. Moreau officiating.  Burial was in Union Grove
Cemetery near Montgomery.
