Tally H. Brown Of Sikes Dies; Buried March 10

Tally Henry Brown, 75, of Sikes died Sunday night in an Alexandria hospital
after a brief illness.  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sikes
Baptist Church with Rev. Thurston Brice officiating.  Burial was in the Sikes
Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Harold Brown of Alexandria and T. J.
Brown of Pineville; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Smith and Mrs. Ruth Tillman,
both of Alexandria, and Mrs. Dorothy Trahan of Jonesboro; three brothers,
Irvin Brown of Columbia, and Dennis and Harvey Brown, both of El Dorado, Ark.;
four sisters, Mrs. Delie Calhoun of Monroe, Mrs. Nettie Erskins of Callion,
Ark., Mrs. Rose Brumley of Chatham, and Mrs. Della Welch of Little Rock; and
17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
