Last Rites For Mrs. Etta Brown At Beech Creek

Last rites for Mrs. Etta Spangler Brown, 63, wife of the late Jack Brown, who
died at her home in Urania, May 17 were held May 19 at the Beech Creek
Cemetery, with burial in the church cemetery.  The Rev. Hardy Bass of Colfax
officiated.

Acting as pallbearers were Joel Strange, Melvin James, Leo Brown, Leon Brown,
Clarence Sanders, and J. C. Fletcher.

The deceased is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Owen Oglesby, Bossier City,
Mrs. Cecil Sanders, and Mrs. Doris Barton of Urania, and Mrs. K. S. Henderson
of Houston, Tex.; two sons, Lee Brown of Olla and Jack Brown, jr., of Urania;
12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces.
