DIED:   At her son's home at Trout, La., Mrs. Mary Ann Brown, October
29, 1906. 
 
She was born June 8, 1842 in Denton County, Tenn.  She was married to
Mr. Thomas Brown December 24, 1857.  To their union were born two sons
and four daughters.  They all survive their parents.

She was a member of the Methodist Protestant church and lived a devoted 
Christian life.  After her husband's death, she held family prayer each
night. Her life was such that she won the high respect of all who knew
her.

She leaves many friends and relatives to mourn her loss.  May they all
meet her in that eternal city in the Heavens.

NOTE:  Ms Brown was buried in Old Harmony Cemetary in Winn Parish La.
