Mrs. Mary Katherine Bratton Dies From Heart Attack May 20

Mrs. Mary Katherine Bratton, 53, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home
here Wednesday, May 20, 1936.  Funeral services were held at her home Thursday
with Dr. B. C. Land, pastor First Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment was
in the cemetery at Dry Prong.

Mrs. Bratton is survived by four sons, Aaron, Guy, Bennie, and Harold Bratton,
all of Winnfield, one daughter, Mrs. W. R. Sydnes, of Port Arthur, Texas; her
mother, Mrs. C. G. Shirley of Winnfield; one brother, S. B. Shirley of
Beaumont, Texas, one sister, Mrs. L. C. Cloud of Goldonna, La., and a number
of nieces and nephews.
