Winn Native Dies Nov. 15 In Kilgore, Tex.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Hand Brunson, 62, of Kilgore, Texas, were
held Monday, November 17, at Eastview Baptist Church in Kilgore with Rev. W.
A. Kelly, pastor, officiating.  Mrs. Brunson died Saturday.

A native of Winnfield, Mrs. Brunson was the daughter of the late Rev. Cheve
Hand, an early pioneer settler in the area.

She is survived by one one son, W. T. Jack Porter of Odessa, Texas; three
daughters, Mrs. A. J. Braband of Houston, Mrs. E. F. Labishe of New Iberia,
and Mrs. Ken Tabor of Houston; two brothers, S. A. Hand of Winter, Ohio, C. C.
Hand of Marion, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. V. G. Cook of Kilgore and Mrs. Maudie
Campbell of Bossier City; several grandchildren and one great grandchild.
