C. R. Bruce, 69, Of Olla Dies; Rites Sunday

Clarence Robert Bruce, 69, of Olla, died Friday, April 19, 1974 in a Urania
hospital.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Hixson Brothers Funeral
Home of Winnfield with the Rev. Dale Windom officiating.  Burial was in
Georgetown Cemetery.  He was a plumber.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hazel Bruce of Olla; three sons, Robert
Bruce of Houston, Tex., Jackie Bruce of New Orleans, and Perry Bruce of Olla;
two daughters, Mrs. Sallie Ann Mullins of Houston, Tex., and Delores Caro of
New Orleans; three brothers, Edgar Bruce of Georgetown, Frank Bruce and Lonzo
Bruce, both of Sweeney; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Bell Smith and Mrs. Ola Mae
Holmes, both of Winnfield, Mrs. Lillian Chancey of Pasadena, Tex., and Mrs.
Anna Lee Bainbridge of South Houston, Tex.; and 13 grandchildren.
