J. C. Bryant Dies After Heart Attack

Funeral services for Junious C. Bryant, 45, of Sikes, were held at 2 p.m.
Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church in Bentley with the Rev. R. G. Gibbs
officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Mr. Bryant died Friday, December 31, 1976 at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania
after an apparent heart attack.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Etta Bryant of Sikes; two sons, David Bryant
of Sikes and Edward Bryant of Colfax; three daughters, Mrs. Donna Lou Seliss
of Flatwood, Mrs. Susan McLaughlin of Colfax, and Miss Rachel Bryant of Sikes;
eight sisters, Mrs. Kathryn McLaughlin and Mrs. Claudia Jones of Colfax, Mrs.
Corene Wise and Mrs. Marie Hayworth, both of Sikes, Mrs. O. L. Garrett of
Olla, Mrs. Stella Futrell of Dry Prong, Mrs. Loretta McLaughlin of Rock Hill,
and Mrs. Inez Glenn of Hudson Creek, and five grandchildren.
