Jessie L. Bryant Buried At Hargis Tuesday, Oct. 18

Jessie L. Bryant, 64, died at his home in Montgomery Monday, October 17, 1960,
after a long illness.  Last rites were conducted at the Hargis Baptist Church
at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. John Kitchingham officiating.  Burial was in the
church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Addie Lou Bryant, Montgomery; three sons,
Herschel Bryant, Winnfield, J. W. of Verda, and G. L. of Montgomery; one
daughter, Mrs. Bessie Young of Oberlin, La.; and 12 grandchildren.

He also leaves five sisters, Mrs. Lethia Allen and Mrs. Ella McIlwain, of
Winnfield, Mrs. Vivian Jackson, Rt. 1, Montgomery, Mrs. Lessie Reeves, 
Montgomery, and Mrs. Nieca Williams, Pineville; and two brothers, James W. and
E. D. Bryant of Montgomery.
