Martin L. Blackshear

Martin L. Blackshear, 59, native of near Georgetown, died August 13 in a
Pineville hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Zion Baptist
Church, with the Rev. J. Henderson officiating.  Burial was in the church
cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Huey Norris, Georgetown, and Mrs. Shirley
Rose Murphy, of Tullos; three sisters, Mrs. R. D. Breithaupt of Winnfield,
Mrs. J. D. Harrison of Georgetown, and Mrs. Maude Kolich of Silver City,
Oregon; one brother, W. H. Blackshear of Sardis, Miss.; and three
grandchildren.
