Funeral Services Held Thursday For Mrs. Blackstock

Mrs. J. M. Blackstock, age 82, died at ten o'clock Tuesday night following a
lingering illness.  She was born in Caldwell Parish in 1853 and moved to this
section when very young.

The deceased was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church where she has held
membership for more than thirty years.   Funeral services were held there at
ten o'clock Thursday morning conducted by Rev. Harrison Cockerham under the
direction of the Winnfield Funeral Home, funeral directors.

Mrs. Blackstock is survived by four sons, Melton Blackstock, Hutson
Blackstock, both of Winnfield; O. H. Blackstock, Sterlington, Chester
Blackstock, Strong, Ark.; four daughters, Mrs. Ella Womack, Tullos, Mrs. W. C.
Hand, Winnfield, Mrs. Jessie Halestine, Crews, and Mrs. L. E. Schelette
Chelette?), Winnfield; 35 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren.
