Last Rites Held For Mrs. Buchanan At Gansville Sat.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bell Buchanan, 75 years of age, who died at her home
in West Monroe, La., July 23, 1943, were held at the Gansville Cemetery, Winn
Parish, July 24, under the direction of a Monroe funeral home.  The Rev.
Brown, Baptist minister of Fairview Alpha, had charge of the services.

A native of Winn Parish, the deceased leaves her husband, J. W. Buchanan, of
West Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Bessie Moffett of Gansville and Mrs. Orie
Saniford, of West Monroe, and their families.  She is also survived by two
sisters, Mrs. Effie Dean of Goldonna and Mrs. May Barnes of Corsicana, Texas;
and one brother, J. H. Martin of Winnfield; and a host of other relatives.
