Mr. R. Buckley, 89, Miss. Native, Dies; Rites Nov. 8

Richard Buckley, 89, a native of Mississippi and a member of the Presbyterian
Church, died November 7, at the home of his son, Richard L. Buckley, in
Winnfield.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Southern
Funeral Home with Rev. W. R. Gage officiating.  Interment was in Garden of
Memories Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include one son, Richard L. Buckley of Winnfield, one daughter,
Catherine Lumbly of Miami, Fla., two brothers, Maury Buckley, Texas, and
Guilliam Buckley, Laurel, Miss.; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Clifford Long, Dick Ashcroft, Bill Petty, Buddy Wood, Dale
Wally, and Ray Jones.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. John T. Mosley, Dr. George Rodgers, Dr. John
McElwee, Dr. E. C. Meyers, and Dr. B. W. Floyd.
