Gordon Lee Bullitt

Gordon Lee Bullitt, 76, of Winnfield, died at 5 a.m. Monday, September 5,
1983 in Veterans Administration Medical Center.

Bullitt was a native of Colfax and a retired painter and construction worker. 
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Laurel Heights Baptist
Church, Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie Bullitt of Winnfield; four stepsons, Curtis
Gorham and Donald Gorham, both of Winnfield, and Garland Gorham and George
Gorham, both of Houston, Texas; three stepdaughters, Jean Thompson of West
Monroe, Dorothy Johnson of Winnfield, and Billie Roberts of Tullos; two
sisters, Ruby Guilliams and Zenobia Guilliams, both of Winnfield; 25
grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Corinth Baptist Church, Winnfield,
with the Revs. Thomas Fitzgerald and W. F. Harrell officiating.  Burial was in
Gorham Town Cemetery, Joyce, under direction of Southern, Winnfield.
