Bundrick Succumbs To Brief Illness Sunday G. M. Bundrick, 72, lifelong resident of Calvin, passed away at the family residence Sunday evening following a brief illness. Funeral services for Mr. Bundrick were held at Sanders' Chapel near Calvin Monday with the Rev. N. T. Smith of Monroe, former Calvin minister, reading the services. The deceased was a farmer before his retirement from active life a few years ago. He was born in Georgia and moved to Louisiana with his parents while very young. He was married to Miss Tiny Carson, daughter of the late W. J. "Uncle Bill" Carson, Confederate veteran who saw service during the seige of Vicksburg. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Bundrick, seven of whom survive. Besides his widow he leaves the following sons and daughters: John T. and William E. Bundrick of Shreveport; James A. Bundrick of Bunkie, La.; Lt. Herman Bundrick of Winnfield; Mrs. Henry Wilson of Calvin and Mrs. Joe Culpepper of this city and 13 grandchildren. Two brothers, Charlie and L. Bundrick of Winnfield Route 3 and one sister, Mrs. Bill Bonnette of Winnsboro.
