Services for Ferne Boyette Burns were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel
of Southern Funeral Home.  Burial was in Boyette Cemetery, Joyce.

Mrs. Burns, 71, of Winnfield, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday, June 22, 1984 in
Humana Hospital-Winn Parish.

Mrs. Burns was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church, Hudson Community.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Burns of Winnfield; two brothers, C.
J. Boyette of Houston, Texas and H. L. Boyette of Ocean Springs, Miss.;
three sisters, Cordell Gracida of Texas City, Texas, Marjorie Brunson of
Alto, Texas, and Melba Hughes of Pineville.
