C. Burnett, 68, Dies; Rites At Friendship

Funeral services for Clarence "Doc" Burnett, 68, of Winnfield were held Monday
at 5 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church near Sikes with the Rev. Jack Head
officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Burnett died Saturday, April 6, 1974, at his residence apparently of a heart
attack.

survivors include his widow, Mrs. Minnie Burnett of Winnfield; one son, David
Burnett of California; two brothers, M. G. Burnett of Dodson and J. I. Burnett
of Camden, Ark.; four
sisters, Mrs. A. D. Jones of West Monroe, Mrs. W. E. Frazier of Goldonna, Mrs.
W. E. Avera of Sarepta, and Mrs. Roma Manasco of Lake City, Fla., and four
grandchildren.
