Burnett, 57, native of Gaars Mill, now of Liberty Texas, died Tuesday, April 2, 1974 at 1 a.m., after a brief illness. He ws a retired purchasing agent for a tie company. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church near Gaars Mill, with Rev. Jack Head officiating. Interment will be in the Church cemetery under the direction of Allison Funeral Home in Liberty, Texas. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Harvey H. Burnett, of Liberty, one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Love of Liberty, three brothers, D. C. Burnett of Winnfield, M. G. Burnett of Dodson, J. I. Burnett of Camden Ark., four sisters, Mrs. Alma Jones, West Monroe, La., Mrs. Ila Frazier of Goldonna, Mrs Zula Avera of Sarepta, La., Mrs. Nola Manasco, of Lake City, Fla., two grandchildren. (Note: Harvey H. Burnett was born on Feb. 12, 1917, the son of Ira Isaac and Mary Lou Boyd Burnett. On Dec. 23, 1937, he married Willie Mae Miller.
