M. Burcham Dies; Rites Held At Iatt Alfred M. Burcham, 84, of Montgomery, died Saturday, September 21, 1974 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Iatt Baptist Church near Montgomery with the Revs. Alson Jeter and Roy Moore officiating. Burial was in Iatt Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Burcham of Montgomery; five sons, Charles Burcham of Jessup, Ga., Billy Burcham of Silsbee, Texas, Evon Burcham and Gayle Burcham, both of Lake Charles, and Stanford Burcham of Fort Worth, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Smith of Pineville, and Mrs. Juanita Willamson of Montgomery; two half brothers, Jim White and John White, both of Fort Smith, Ark; a half sister, Mrs. Myrtle Newton of Alexandria, 21 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
