Funeral Rites For Albert A. Burch Held

Funeral services for Albert A. Burch, 79, of Pollock, were held at 3:30 p.m.
in the Zion Hill Baptist Church near Winnfield.  The Rev. Curtis Rozell and
the Rev. Jewell Fleming officiated.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral
Home.

Mr. Burch died at his home Tuesday, June 27, 1967, after a long illness.  He
was a native of Missouri, but moved to Winn Parish at an early age.  He was a
retired saw filer and a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Aubrey Burch of Winnfield, Roy Burch
and Durwood Burch, both of Pollock; four daughters, Mrs. Agnes Coleman of
Pollock, Mrs. Violet White of Fitzville, Fla., Mrs. W. B. Oaks of San Pedro,
Calif., and Mrs. Beatrice Giles of Forest Hill; 20 grandchildren, and 12
great grandchildren.
