A. Burch Dies of Injuries Received in Crash Funeral Services are Held At Harmony Grove Sunday Mrs. O. A. Burch, 47, of Gaars Mill, succumbed Saturday night at a hospital in Pineville, as a result of being struck by a car driven by J. B. Rubrecht, an enrollee of the New Hope CCC Camp, who with several other youths, was returning to the camp at New Hope Tuesday morning of last week. Rubrecht's home is in Rayville. It was reported that Mrs. Burch was assisting her son, Leroy, in an effort to get his truck started on the highway near their home when they were struck by a Ford Tudor driven by Rubrecht. Leroy Burch, who was critically injured, died in the Pineville hospital Wednesday of last week. His burial was at Harmony Grove last Thursday. Funeral services for Mrs. Burch were conducted at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Sunday afternoon with the Rev. O. L. Hughes of Winnfield and the Rev. E. W. Corley of Chatham, officiating.
